New Bill In Hawaii Senate Would Ban Sale of Animal-Tested Cosmetics In Hawaii

To the Hawaii State Senate for considering a Senate Bill 2113, also known as the Hawaii Cruelty-Free Cosmetic Act, to end animal testing in the creation of cosmetics.

To help create a more humane world for animals, we as a society, can make conscientious decisions to buy cruelty-free products. According to a recent news article, legislators in Hawaii have introduced the Hawaii Cruelty-Free Cosmetics Act, also known as Senate Bill 2113. If passed, this bill would “…ban the profit, sale, and offer for sale of any cosmetic the State, if the final product or any component of the product was developed or manufactured using animal testing performed on or after January 1, 2020.”
