About our “Kindness in the Classroom” Humane Education Presentations
“Kindness in the Classroom” is NHES’ free interactive humane education presentation offered to schools nationwide. Our standard program lasts around 45 minutes and is designed for students in Kindergarten through 5th grades. “Kindness in the Classroom” addresses:
Our programs are free to all schools, public and private, and can accommodate 20 to 300 students per assembly. Where permitted, humane educators may bring a friendly “shelter dog ambassador” to the program or partner with a local therapy dog team (when traveling out of state). Presentations are most effective when targeted to a specific age level, so many schools prefer to run a few assemblies throughout the day by grade level.
