Film has rightly been called the “most powerful" teaching tool available. Focus on Animals is a humane education library program that connects concerned individuals with important and eye-opening animal welfare and rights films. Through this vital program, we provide nearly 100 quality films on loan - free of charge and covering a wide range of issues - to humane educators, teachers, shelter staff, professionals, students and many others working to encourage a more humane world. See below to include powerful films in your education program today! How do I signup? If you are a first-time user, please complete and return the Library Member Agreement prior to making a loan request. How does the program work? Please refer to the Program Guidelines for answers to your FAQ's. How do I borrow films? Simply call 304-725-0506 or email us! What films are available? To browse the library, please click on the film category links under Related Articles column on the left. The categories are divided by general school age, then issues. Help us expand the film list~ We currently have over 25 films on the Focus on Animals "wish list" that entail copyright costs for library use; we hope to add multiple copies of these films through ongoing donations to our program. Please consider making a "Bread & Butter" donation to help us make these valuable educational tools widely available to grassroots education efforts such as your own.
Attention film makers~ We welcome submissions of new films for library consideration! Please send to: NHES c/o FoA P.O. Box 340 Charles Town, WV 25414 Submitted films are not returned. The NHES Education Department will contact film makers with further details for those films selected for addition to the Focus on Animals library. Questions?
